Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Production Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of our window frame production operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively, while maintaining our high standards for quality and compliance.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and control the manufacturing process of window frame products (aluminium, uPVC, or timber-based).
  • Develop production schedules and ensure that they are met according to deadlines and specifications.
  • Supervise, lead, and mentor the production team, including training and performance management.
  • Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and quality assurance standards.
  • Maintain and improve production systems, machinery, and workflow processes.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure availability of raw materials and components.
  • Liaise with design, sales, and installation teams to ensure customer specifications are met.
  • Manage inventory control and stock management for both raw materials and finished products.
  • Analyse production data and KPIs, prepare reports, and recommend process improvements.

Job requirement:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in a production or operations management role, preferably in the construction or window manufacturing industry, Or
  • Relevant qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or related discipline (diploma or higher).
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control, and occupational safety
    procedures.
  • Ability to lead and manage teams in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles is desirable.
  • Proficiency in using production software and Microsoft Office suite.

Minimum hourly rate (low salary range): 35
Maximum hourly rate (high salary range): 42
