Technical Lead – Data

In This Role, You Will
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level data solutions using modern platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert, contributing hands-on across architecture, modelling, and performance optimisation.
- Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, analysts, and consultants, fostering growth and collaboration.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to define roadmaps, run discovery workshops, and guide clients on data strategy and delivery.
- Ensure data governance, quality, and security standards are upheld across all solutions and platforms.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to scope, price, and lead delivery of technical solutions.
- Deep technical knowledge of modern data platforms and tools such as SQL, Python, dbt, Snowflake, and cloud services (Azure or AWS).
- Proven experience leading or mentoring high-performing technical teams.
- Strong background in solution design, delivery leadership, and stakeholder engagement.
- Expertise in implementing best practices in data governance, data modelling, and performance tuning.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
