The Role
Based in Wallacetown, Invercargill, the Office Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Hub’s administration support function. Supporting our people (from directors to researchers and our farm team) will be a core focus of the role and you’ll need to be adept at managing relationships and servicing the diverse needs of external and internal stakeholders.

The Role
Based in Wallacetown, Invercargill, the Office Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Hub’s administration support function. Supporting our people (from directors to researchers and our farm team) will be a core focus of the role and you’ll need to be adept at managing relationships and servicing the diverse needs of external and internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- office management and efficient delivery of support services
- acting as an executive assistant to the General Manager and servicing the board
- overseeing financial administration activities
- ensuring our people management and health and safety are industry leading and supporting the team to deliver our commitment to best practice
- management of business information and reporting, with a focus on continuously improving support operations through robust processes
About you
You will:
- have successfully delivered best practice management of people in a similar role
- be organised and driven with the ability to self-manage and prioritise to meet deadlines
- have strong attention to detail and a commitment to high work standards
- be financially literate
- use your excellent communication and relationship building skills to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction
- have a focus on continuous improvement through robust processes
- have a strong affinity for the primary sector, ideally with hands-on experience.
