We are hiring for KW International Limited, a vehicle import and export business based in Auckland. We specialise in preparing and presenting high-end vehicles for resale and delivery. We are currently seeking skilled Vehicle Panelbeaters to join our repair and restoration team.

Job Title (Vehicle) Panelbeater

Job Location: Auckland

Number of people need: 2

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Days Required: Needs to be available from Monday to Saturday, between 7:30am to 6:30 pm

May need to work during weekends or public holidays;

Hourly Rate: $28.3 - $35

Hours per Week: Guaranteed minimum 30 hours per week. Up to 50 hours per week.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting damaged vehicles and determining appropriate repair methods
  • Removing damaged panels and repairing or replacing structural body parts
  • Using specialist tools to straighten damaged vehicle frames and panels
  • Welding, grinding, filling, and sanding surfaces in preparation for painting
  • Refitting body hardware such as locks, handles, and trims
  • Working with insurance assessors to prepare repair estimates if required
  • Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the workshop and using protective equipment appropriately
  • Ensuring all work is completed to industry standards and company quality guidelines

Requirements for the applicants:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience as a panel beater OR completion of a recognised automotive body repair qualification
  • Skilled in body repair techniques including frame straightening, MIG/TIG welding, sanding, and panel replacement
  • Familiarity with modern and classic vehicle structures and repair techniques
  • Understanding of health and safety standards in workshop environments
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting and manual work
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Valid driver’s licence preferred
  • Ability to attend an onsite interview preferred
