Senior CAD Designer

We are looking for a senior CAD Designer to join our team in Albany, Auckland.

The purpose of this role is to draft and prepare the drawings for tailing storage and water storage dams, earthworks for commercial, industrial and mining facilities and earthwork associated with roads and residential projects. Your work will be primarily for sites in New Zealand and Australia.

Your day-to-day tasks include but are not limited to:

• Undertaking geometric design and 2D modeling
• Drafting and preparation of drawings
• Preparing as-built drawings, reviewing as-built information and confirmaiton of quantities associated with contract claims
• Preparing figures and graphical information for technical reports
• Training and mentoring junior CAD designers.

To qualify for this role, we require the right candidate with:

• At least 3-year relevant work experience

• Organisational and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Analytical thinking and business awareness.

For the right candidate, we offer competative salary with 40 hours of work per week (can be up to 60 hours).
