The role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi:
We are looking for someone to provide leadership, direction and expertise to Equip in order to support the provision of quality, robust services that continuously exceed organisational objectives. The successful candidate will ensure clinical best practice in the development, provision and review of services and associated policies and procedures. They will also ensure that Equips services and support are the best they can be, reflecting latest evidence and thinking. This position is 32 - 40 hours per week with a level of flexibility which will be required to meet the needs of tangata whai ora.
You | Mōu:
- New Zealand Registered Occupational Therapist, Nurse, Social Worker or DAPAANZ-registered
- Sound clinical judgment
- Comprehensive leadership skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
- Have a passion for mentoring others
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- A clean full NZ drivers licence
- NZ resident or a valid NZ work visa
- Ability to build rapport and empathise with people from diverse backgrounds
- Have a sound knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and be able to demonstrate bicultural concepts in practice, or willingness to learn
- If you speak Te Reo Maori it is bonus!
- An interest in Māori and Pasifika people’s customs and cultural norms
