At Green by Nature, we're more than just a greenspace maintenance team - we're passionate about keeping Auckland and its surrounding areas clean, green and thriving. As a trusted partner of the Auckland District Council, we take pride in maintaining the regions parks, playgrounds, gardens, infrastructure, and public spaces. To support our mission, we're seeking a two Facilities Operator's.
What does a Facilities Operator do you ask?
Reporting to the team manager, you will be responsible for various duties including, but not limited to, rubbish collection and disposal, cleaning of public amenities such as barbeques and bus stops, and general maintenance and cleaning of certain public bathrooms. This is a permanent, full-time position with rostered shifts over the week (weekend work will be required). Our rosters are 3am to 12:30pm and 5am to 2:30pm so being an early riser is a must!

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
- A full, clean driver's licence with the ability to drive a manual and a compactor
- The desire to work in an outdoor, physical role - a good level of fitness is required!
- A high health and safety awareness with a commitment to adhering to our company policies and procedures
- An awesome work ethic, self-motivation and be able to work well within a team
- Previous experience in a similar role/environment is preferred but not essential
