Your Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Electrician: NZ Registered Electrician with at least 4 years of technical experience.
• Technical Expertise: Proficient in protection systems, SCADA, PLCs, and communication networks.
• High Voltage Experience: Familiar with HV systems, substations, or power transmission.
• Independent and Decisive: Able to work independently and make informed decisions under pressure.
• Safety Focused: Strong commitment to safety standards.

About the Role:

As a Power Technician, you’ll be a vital part of our Maintenance Division, responsible for:

• Maintaining, testing, and installing protection systems, SCADA, and communication networks.
• Diagnosing faults, conducting system tests, and installing protection relays.
• Providing technical support to engineering and operations teams.
• Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical network.

About You:

• Tertiary Qualification: Relevant technical qualification with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
• EWRB Registered: Current registration is essential.
