Thai Massage Therapist

Thai Smile Thai Massage is located near the centre of Christchurch. We are a luxury premises looking for an experienced, skilled, and passionate Massage Therapist to join our dedicated team of professionals.

We offer many types of Thai Massage including Thai oil massage, sports massage, deep tissue massage, relaxation, and hot stone massage.

Offering $27-$30 per hour, dependent on experience. Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week over six days.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:
1. Providing a range of massage therapies to help clients relax and reduce muscular discomfort
2. Applying a variety of massage techniques such as Traditional Thai Massage, Oil Massage, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, and targeted treatments for head, neck, back, and shoulders
3. Guiding clients through our service offerings and helping them choose their type of massage.
4. Understanding of clients’ needs and adjusting massage techniques to meet client needs.
5. Suggesting massage schedules for recurring sessions.
6. Creating an excellent client experience by presenting a friendly and helpful attitude.
7. Following all the practice policies and protocols. Perform other duties as assigned.
8. Assisting in the cleanliness of the therapy rooms, common areas and equipment care.
9. Working evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required. You will have to be flexible to meet the business needs, so hours may need to be adjusted to accommodate busy times.
10. Assisting with bookings and appointments via computer and telephone
11. Being honest, professional, and reliable.

What We’re Looking For:
You must have at least two years of experience working as a Thai massage therapist, with proven knowledge in performing the full range of massage services we offer. Excellent customer service and sales skills are an advantage, along with effective English communication skills to ensure a smooth and professional experience for clients.
