About The Role

You will play an integral role as part of our Care Team with support to work at the top of your scope. You will provide patient-centered, culturally safe, and holistic general practice nursing care for our patients.

As an in-clinic Primary Care Nurse, you will be providing a full range of nursing services and working in partnership with the Central Clinical Team to provide a seamless, high-quality patient experience at all times.

You will also support our awesome HCA team, providing direction & delegation to ensure high-quality patient care.

We operate a weekend clinic, so the ability to work during the weekend is required as part of a rotating roster.

The ideal candidate:

  • Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
  • Must have worked as a Registered Nurse for at least 1-2 years, preferably in a general practice or community nursing role
  • Have a real desire to work in Primary Care long-term
  • Excited by change & championing model of care improvements
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, exhibiting strong problem-solving skills
  • Current vaccinators & cervical smear takers certifications are highly desirable
