Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About the role
As a Barbering Tutor, you will be teaching our Barbering Level 4 program. You don’t need any experience in teaching, we will provide you with comprehensive learning, and support teaching tools to become successful in your trainer role. You will be facilitating learning using existing curriculum which is prepared for you – all you have to do is take your passion into the classroom and use the resources along the way.
To be a Barbering Trainer, you will need a nationally recognised qualification in Commercial Barbering (Level 4) or equivalent international qualification and at least three years industry experience. It would be advantageous if you have a qualification in Adult Teaching, however, it isn’t a requirement.

- Deliver learning objectives in a way that brings our curriculum alive for the student
- Mentoring students and tracking/monitoring of our student success
- Achieve graduate success outcomes
