Electrical Technician

Position Available: Electrical Technician
Number of Positions Available: 2
Location: Auckland Region
Payrate: $27 to $32 per hour
Minimum Hours of Work Per Week: 30
Maximum Hours of Work Per Week: 40

Key Requirements:

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience required.
  OR

• At least level 4 or above relevant qualification required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential and commercial sites

• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, plans, and technical specifications

• Carry out on-site electrical measurements and diagnostics

• Identify and report faults or non-compliance issues to the supervising electrician

• Prepare tools and electrical components for installation and maintenance tasks

• Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and system test results

• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act and electrical compliance standards

• Work closely with licensed electricians to deliver high-quality electrical installation and repair services
