Housekeeping Supervisor – Quest Henderson

About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on and proactive Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team. Reporting to the House Manager and Group Head of Housekeeping, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the department ensuring all guest rooms and common areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

    • 1 position available
    • This is a permanent, full-time position.
    • A minimum of 30 hours per week is guaranteed.
    • Work days will be set on a rotating roster, including weekends.
    • Pay rate: $25-30.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise, support, and motivate the housekeeping team
    • Oversee the cleaning and preparation of guest apartments and public areas
    • Conduct daily room inspections and maintain Quest brand standards
    • Prepare and manage staff rosters based on occupancy levels
    • Manage housekeeping stock and control expenditure
    • Induct and train new staff members
    • Respond to guest inquiries and maintain a high level of customer service
    • Promote a safe, positive, and productive working environment

    What We’re Looking For

    • 2 to 3 years of previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning supervisory role (preferably in accommodation or hospitality)
    • A keen eye for detail and pride in your work
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to lead by example and work collaboratively with the team
    • Strong time management and task prioritisation skills
    • Reliable, mature, and flexible with a friendly and professional approach
    • Confidence with spoken English
