Housekeeping Supervisor – Quest Henderson

About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on and proactive Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team. Reporting to the House Manager and Group Head of Housekeeping, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the department ensuring all guest rooms and common areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- 1 position available
- This is a permanent, full-time position.
- A minimum of 30 hours per week is guaranteed.
- Work days will be set on a rotating roster, including weekends.
- Pay rate: $25-30.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, support, and motivate the housekeeping team
- Oversee the cleaning and preparation of guest apartments and public areas
- Conduct daily room inspections and maintain Quest brand standards
- Prepare and manage staff rosters based on occupancy levels
- Manage housekeeping stock and control expenditure
- Induct and train new staff members
- Respond to guest inquiries and maintain a high level of customer service
- Promote a safe, positive, and productive working environment
What We’re Looking For
- 2 to 3 years of previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning supervisory role (preferably in accommodation or hospitality)
- A keen eye for detail and pride in your work
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead by example and work collaboratively with the team
- Strong time management and task prioritisation skills
- Reliable, mature, and flexible with a friendly and professional approach
- Confidence with spoken English
