He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role

Reporting to the Application Manager, the Senior Application Analyst is responsible for enhancing and supporting core business applications through the application lifecycle. We are looking for a passionate technologist who can understand the customer journey and translate this into user stories to then configure solutions with high quality and effortless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Facilitating collaboration and workshops with cross-functional squads to co-design innovative solutions
  • Developing productive relationships with all stakeholders, that ensure business requirements are understood and executed to agreed plan
  • Applying technical expertise across applications to support cross-functional squad members and delivery
  • Resolve system incidents and problems and support application release(s) and hotfixes

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 5+ years hands-on experience with the Salesforce Platform, including configuration, automation (e.g. Flows), user permissions, and reporting.
  • Ideally, proven experience with Salesforce Field Service, including concepts such as Work Orders, Service Appointments, Dispatch Console, and the Mobile App.
  • Experience with DevOps Centre or other Salesforce deployment tools (e.g., Change Sets, Jetstream).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills - able to clearly explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into practical Salesforce solutions.
  • Comfortable running workshops, collaborating with end users, and supporting adoption and training.
  • Proficient with Jira for managing user stories, support tickets, and change tracking.
  • Organised, detail-focused, and proactive in identifying issues and driving improvements.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with SOQL, and a basic understanding of APEX or custom development on the Salesforce platform.
