Ko tō tūranga – your role
As the GIS - Network Inventory Engineer, your role is responsible for end-to-end solutions designs for fibre access provisioning which enable the business to deliver connectivity to our optical systems and customers.
You will be based in either Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch.

Ko tō tūranga – your role
As the GIS - Network Inventory Engineer, your role is responsible for end-to-end solutions designs for fibre access provisioning which enable the business to deliver connectivity to our optical systems and customers.
You will be based in either Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch.
Ko Tō Mahi – What You’ll Do
- Maintain all Aspects of EonFibre Network records
- Provide accurate network record information and plans to produce project plans, schedules, and SOW as required
- Provide accurate network record information and plans to obtain building owner approvals for fibre delivery
- Provide records for emergency restoration
- Provide accurate network record information and plans to create SOP for Change request submissions
- Input and request Change requests
- Complete additional tasks as directed by EonFibre management.
- Provide end to end design documents
- Comprehensive understanding of OSP build specifically, Utilities ACT, Civil Construction legislation, Traffic Management, Civil Construction Methodologies, Fibre installation, handling, Fibre Splicing, testing and Council regulatory requirements
- Understanding of Layer 1 - Layer 2 technologies
- Transmission Methodologies
- Multi-Platform Access technologies,
- Core competencies, knowledge, experience and expertise in the Fixed Access domain;
- Fibre Optic design principles incl Transmission technologies, DWDM, SDH
- Outside Plant design, deliver and maintenance of Underground and overhead network architecture
- Digital Microwave Radio design principles incl. - IP Transport, Ethernet switching / routing
- Multi-Platform Access technologies, including HFC, GPON, XGPON
- Excellent written and verbal communications and presentation skills
- Ability to engage and contribute within a high performing and diverse team
