Senior Project Manager

My client is looking at hiring a Senior Business Project Manager to work on a large project. This will be a 12-month contract role based in Wellington.

Successful applicants will have…

• At least 10 years experience in project management delivery, preferably experience with Government and public sector agencies
• Strategic thinker and translator into action
• Effective communicator and building relationships by adapting approaches with key stakeholders including the business owner and the sponsor
• Is a quick learner of a complex topic and working in a complex environment
• Core capabilities as an experienced project manager across governance, schedules, registers, risk and issue management, stakeholder management and keeping the team on track
• Supporting where necessary to meet deadlines
• Has proven and successful experience in delivering operational models or organisational team structures alongside policy and capabilities required
