As our Commercial & Planning Analyst you will be a partner to our AI & Data function while playing a key role in structured financial planning & analysis, driving commercial insight and supporting the design of value realisation frameworks.
Supporting the Commercial Manager, you will thrive in enabling clarity of the investment to deliver AI & Data programs, supporting strong investment decisions and aligning financial governance.
We're seeking someone who is innately curious about the potential of AI and design thinking, is passionate about process and brings strong financial discipline & commercial insight practices.
This is a unique opportunity for a commercially minded professional who is excited about working in a dynamic, emerging space. You don’t need to be an AI expert—but curiosity, a process mindset, and a willingness to learn are key.

Ko Tō Mahi – What You’ll Do
- Maintain and manage the budget for the AI Transformation Program
- Provide timely, accurate, and strategic financial reporting to ensure transparency and accountability for investments for AI Transformation.
- Partner with the Commercial Manager to develop frameworks that quantify business impact and support prioritisation of AI solutions aligned with strategic goals.
- Serve as a bridge between Finance and Data & AI teams, ensuring program budgets and forecasts accurately reflect operating and capital expenditures.
- Collaborate with Capital Governance to assess and validate classification of AI initiatives as capex or opex.
- Drive proactive, scenario-based planning for AI Transformation delivery streams to support optimal resource allocation and manage delivery risks effectively.
- Conduct targeted commercial analysis to evaluate AI and data tooling investments, supporting informed decision-making across the organisation.
- Experience in commercial analysis, strategic finance, accounting or business planning roles, ideally in technology or transformation environments but not essential — what matters most is your eagerness to learn and contribute.
- Demonstrated experience designing and managing financial frameworks, forecasting models, and performance dashboards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills—you enjoy working with different people and helping bring clarity through numbers
- A proactive, curious mindset with a desire to learn more about AI, automation and digital transformation
- Strong process orientation with a passion for automation, simplification, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent Excel skills; exposure to tools like Power BI is a plus.
