Capenter

We are looking for a experienced carpenter for our client, you will be working in Bay of Plenty, with weekly guaranteed hours at least 30 and a gross hourly pay rate between $29.66 and $35.
In this role you will be part of a successful team, building award winning new homes and as part of this team you will be responsible for delivering the highest quality workmanship.

Job Duties:
Reading of blueprints or detailed instructions to complete the layout for a project.
Taking measurements and calculating size and amount of materials needed.
Cutting and shaping material using a variety of tools.
Erecting framework and roof framing, sub-flooring and floorboards.
Assembling of prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install.
Working closely with other project members to ensure health & safety rules are adheredto.
Completing all structures to the highest quality workmanship.

Experience:
3 years’ experience or more experience as a Carpenter is preferred.
Experience in framing, cladding, formwork and concrete is preferred.
Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials.
Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
Must be hard working and motivated.
Must be willing to submit to a drug test and pass.
Self-motivated and a pro-active attitude.
