Mō te tūranga - About the role
The primary purpose of this role is to support the Payroll Team and SAP SuccessFactors, specifically focusing on New Zealand payroll, but able to support other geographies.
Key activities that support this mission:
Subject Matter Expert: The engineer will act as an SME for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
Application Support: This includes maintaining production and standby instances of SAP SuccessFactors.

This role is accountable for:
Be a critical member of a global team supporting payroll operations across multi-geographies, primarily focused on New Zealand Payroll.
Support & maintain SAP SuccessFactors ECP and Platform, ensuring systems are healthy, accurate and secure.
Support the accurate processing of a complex payroll, ensuring compliance with New Zealand legislation.
Collaboration Skills: Ability to collaborate with peers in multiple geographies and work in a team environment
On-call Support: Willingness to provide on-call support during payroll finalization and run.

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Technical proficiency in SAP SuccessFactors, Employee Central Payroll (ECP); with a strong understanding on NZ Payroll and Payroll operations.
System Configuration and Data Integrity: Experience in customized payroll configuration, system configuration, data integrity, and ECP transports.
Skilled in ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming).
ITIL, DEVOPs/SAFe/Agile Frameworks: Solid understanding of ITIL, DEVOPs/SAFe/Agile frameworks.
Soft Skills: Effective communication, collaboration, time management, adaptability, and attention to detail.
