Mō Te Tūranga - About The Role

As a Customer Marketing Manager in our Marketing Centre of Excellence you'll play a key role in their mission to deliver excellent customer experiences through personalisation. You will:

  • Play a pivotal role in shaping and executing automated marketing communication strategies that drive business growth and enhance customer experience
  • Work in a cross-functional squad to deliver and optimise data-driven campaigns
  • Lead strategic initiatives to enhance the capabilities of the Customer Marketing team and drive continuous improvement.

As a Customer Marketing Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Synthesising customer research and insights to gain a comprehensive understanding of customer behaviours, motivations and potential touchpoints for personalised communications.
  • Developing customer centric, insight-driven contact strategies across various direct digital and traditional channels.
  • Briefing our in-house design studio to create multi-channel content that delivers value to customers.
  • Working and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to drive world-class communications.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the performance of customer contact journeys, focussing on continuous improvement and enhancements.


Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • 5+ years of experience in customer marketing, with a strong focus on automation and data-driven strategies.
  • Proven expertise in personalisation within a multi-channel marketing automation ecosystem
  • Experience in developing customer contact programmes based on behaviour analysis and customer journey mapping.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret customer data and optimise campaigns
  • Ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders across various levels of seniority in a fast-paced environment, with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Recognised graduate or post-graduate tertiary qualification in Marketing or Business.
  • Industry-specific qualifications.


The following would be considered advantageous to this role:

  • Experience in Financial Services or utilities.
  • Ability to maintain a big picture focus, ensuring actions align with strategic objectives.
