New Installation / Modernisation Field Technician (Fitter)
As New Installation / Modernisation Field Technician (Fitter), you will be responsible for the installation of new and modernised lifts and escalators across our customer sites.
Your Key Accountabilities Will Include
You will ideally have previous experience in the lift industry in a similar role and a working knowledge of the lift codes and standards.

New Installation / Modernisation Field Technician (Fitter)

As New Installation / Modernisation Field Technician (Fitter), you will be responsible for the installation of new and modernised lifts and escalators across our customer sites.
Your Key Accountabilities Will Include
- Execute the installation of new and modernized lift/escalator applying the methods established by Schindler ensuring the achievement of performance targets.
- Ensuring work sites are set-up, kept tidy and that all paperwork is up to date
- Carry out site surveys
- Perform all works according to Schindler standards, including quality and safety policies.
You will ideally have previous experience in the lift industry in a similar role and a working knowledge of the lift codes and standards.
You Will Also Possess
- A current NZ electrical licence (Electrician or Electrical Installer) or Strong Mechanical/Fitter Turner experience
- Eligibility to work permanently in New Zealand (citizen or permanent resident)
- NZ Driver's license
- Outstanding communication skills and customer service etiquette
- Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to work under pressure
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Apps (Excel, Outlook, Word)
