About the role:
As the Spa Manager at the prestigious Park Hyatt Auckland, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel's luxury spa facility. This is a full-time, on-site position located in the Auckland CBD. In this strategic role, you will ensure the exceptional delivery of spa services and the overall satisfaction of our discerning guests.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the spa's operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and financial reporting
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure a seamless, personalized experience for all spa guests
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the spa's offerings and drive revenue growth
  • Manage and coach a team of talented therapists, receptionists, and attendants
  • Monitor industry trends and introduce new treatments, products, and services to enhance the spa's service portfolio
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing requirements
  • Collaborate with the hotel's management team to align the spa's operations with the overall business objectives

What we're looking for

  • Substantial experience (3+ years) in a similar spa management role within a luxury hotel or resort setting
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Strong business acumen and financial management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of spa treatments, products, and industry best practices
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work a rotating roster
  • Applicant must have valid working rights in New Zealand
