Civil Structures Engineer, Marlborough, Top of the South

The Marlborough and Top of the South teams and have a fantastic opportunity for a highly capable Civil Structural Engineer with a focus on bridges and/or marine structures. Our team in Marlborough have a successful portfolio of working collaboratively with both private and public sector clients to achieve a common goal.


You’ll provide technical services on civil structures design and asset management of projects in the Marlborough region, including the Marlborough Sounds, and across the Nelson and Tasman Districts.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or closely related discipline.
  • Preferably a minimum of 7 years’ professional experience, in the field of bridge, civil and/or marine structures.
  • Experience working on projects in Aotearoa with a knowledge of best practices on the maintenance of bridges and/or other structures will be an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of relevant standards, legislation with regards to the design, construction and maintenance of bridge and/or marine structures.
  • Achieved or actively working toward Chartered Professional Engineering (CPEng) status or equivalent.
  • Current, clean drivers license.
