Job purpose: To perform and complete maintenance tasks in an efficient manner to a high standard.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment, weekly, monthly, annually.
- Work alongside any other member of the maintenance team with any tasks where required.
- Provide information to supervisor, co-workers by telephone, email and in person.
- Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools and reassemble equipment.
- Utilising reporting and online checklist-style checks compile robust reports on the plants and facilities we maintain.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and checks to ensure that machines continue to operate smoothly, systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of the plant and equipment does not deteriorate.
- Use tools ranging from common hand tools and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills and wrenches.
- Assemble, install or repair minor pipe systems, plumbing, machinery or equipment.
- Order parts, supplies and equipment from suppliers.
- Escalate issues onsite to ensure that tasks are being completed within the timeframes discussed.
- Work alongside the management team to ensure reporting features and software are kept up to date and there is free-flowing communication within the team.

Qualifications:
Proven experience working with relevant technical specifications, standards, and practices.
Previous experience in undertaking routine inspections would be an added advantage.
Adherence to health and safety compliance and regulations in a safety critical environment.
