Dicker Data, a strategic partner of Citrix for Australia and New Zealand, is looking for a Partner Development Manager to work on a 12-month contract for CXANZ, our dedicated Citrix business unit.

Your core responsibility is to drive partner-led growth and expand Citrix adoption across the New Zealand reseller channel. You will identify new business opportunities, support go-to-market initiatives, and enable partners to position Citrix's digital workspace, app delivery, and secure access solutions to their customers.

A major focus of this role is re-activating the partner base delivering net-new revenue through strategic recruitment, onboarding, and enablement. By leading joint business planning, partner training, and targeted sales campaigns, you will play a key role in accelerating the pipeline and closing Citrix opportunities.

Job Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships for Citrix solutions
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing reseller partners, and with key managers and stakeholders within Citrix
  • Leverage strategic thinking, energy, and insight to identify business opportunities, select the right channels, and negotiate effectively with senior decision-makers in major accounts.
  • Represent CXANZ at events, webinars, and social functions-including outside of business hours where required.
  • Maintain up-to-date CXANZ sales certifications and product knowledge, including digital workspace, VDI, app delivery, and cloud solutions.

This position will suit someone with at least 5 years of experience within the IT industry, with ideally at least 3 years of exposure to Citrix, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, or endpoint security.

  • Ability to work under pressure and effectively prioritize work, to meet with Company and Partner expectations.
  • High level of initiative and enthusiasm.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. This includes an ability to communicate and liaise with all levels of Partner and Vendor contacts.
  • Understanding of commercial aspects (e.g., margin & competitive pricing models.)
  • Working knowledge of the New Zealand IT market
  • Well-developed negotiation skills
  • Ability to forecast against sales targets on a monthly/quarterly basis
  • Excellent time management, accuracy, and attention to detail
