About the role | He Aha Te Tūranga
Reporting to the Head of New Zealand Operations, the Performance Insights Manager is responsible for leading the Performance Insights team which leverages multiple data sources to deliver high quality information, insights and recommendations to influence strategic decision making, performance achievement and support the delivery of the nib NZ strategic plan.
This senior leadership role is key to optimising operational performance across the business. Working closely with NZ Operations managers and external stakeholders, you'll analyse performance and forecast data to generate actionable insights, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations that enhance outcomes for Advisers, Members, and Providers.
This role requires excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail through input gathering and the transformation of data to help drive business decisions. This role will also support the development of forecasts and drive a robust planning function to support the optimisation of the operational workforce.
About you | Ko Wai Koe
- Tertiary qualifications in Statistics or Financial reporting and minimum 5 years relevant experience
- Strong Commercial Acumen and experience in strategic delivery.
- Experience in data mining, trend analysis and data visualisation. High-level written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience in databases concepts, data queries and tools such as SQL, Snowflake and Excel. Experience working with structured and semi structured data.
- Track record of taking ownership, effective stakeholder management through transparent communication, prioritisation, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent collaboration skills in cross functional teams with the ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Enthusiasm for continuing to learn state-of-the-art techniques
- Knowledge and experience implementing ETL/ELT technologies in an enterprise environment working with structured and semi-structured data
- Industry specific knowledge and experience
- Experience in Tableau or similar data visualisation tool
- Strong SQL coding data manipulation skills
