Our Distribution Operations Lead at MAS has the responsibility for developing, implementing, and refining operational processes to enhance distribution and sales performance, and support business objectives. This includes responsibility for planning, delivery and coordination of programs and initiatives that impact the Advice Channels, overseeing change management program implementation and management of key stakeholders both within and external to MAS.

What a Day Might Look Like
- In conjunction with Head of Distribution Operations, delivers on and monitors agreed annual Operations Business Plan, aligned to MAS's overall strategy and objectives for all of Distribution
- Plan deliver and coordinate initiatives that support the growth and effectiveness of advice channels
- Identifies and supports implementation of initiatives that improve the overall operational efficiency and effectiveness of the Distribution business. Identify and address inefficiencies to improve adviser and Member experience
- Works with key stakeholders to identify and support programmes and initiatives and ensure alignment of key initiatives and/or campaigns that will positively impact on the business and resources
- Assists with developing and maintaining an operational plan for Distribution Operations, which details initiatives, impacts and timings as well as resource requirements
- Supports the effective implementation of change management initiatives and projects that impact Distribution - including associated technology improvements and implementation
- Supports People Leaders to successfully implement business improvement initiatives
- Tracks, monitors and reports on outcomes of all assigned projects and initiatives, including leading project review processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM and other Operational applications
- Excellent oral, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyse and improve operational processes
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in an operations specialist or management role, ideally in a banking, financial services or insurance environment
- Experience in building and executing a successful operations strategy in a matrix organisation
- Experience in leading change initiatives and successfully empowering and motivating others to execute
