Service Technician
Your Main Responsibilities
We are looking for 2 Service Technicians. These are permanent, full-time positions, you’ll be joining our Existing Installation and Maintenance team in our headquarters in Avondale, Auckland.
You’ll be focusing in elevating our customers experience within Auckland region and be involved with all aspects of lifts and escalators maintenance and repairs.
You’ll also need to actively drive business growth by identifying sales opportunities, including promoting Schindler Service and Repairs.
You’ll provide technical support/training to the regional team, including driving safety and quality initiatives and technical support to Sales department (including site surveys and customer site visits)

What You Bring
- Either a minimum experience of 3 years’ experience as a Lifts Service Technician or a Lift Repairs Technician or a relevant qualification at NZQF Level 4 (Trade Certificate or Diploma) in the Mechanical or Electrical area.
- EWRB Electrical Service Technician Registered or Limited Certificate or Provisional License.
- Full and clean NZ driver’s license
- Dedicated in working safely with a high focus on quality.
- A practical thinker and enjoys technical challenges.
- Highly accountable
- Work with flexibility and accountable with their actions.
- Ability to work under pressure and rapidly problem solve.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Drives collaboration and teamwork
