The Opportunity

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer with strong manual and automation testing experience to support a key program over a 6-month period. This is a hands-on role working across mobile, API, and platform testing in a complex banking and payments ecosystem.

You will join a cross-functional team focused on delivering high-quality financial services products, with the opportunity to contribute across manual, automated, and performance testing efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manual testing on mobile apps, APIs, and payment platforms
  • Conduct thorough API testing using tools like Postman and Insomnia
  • Monitor and troubleshoot using tools such as Charles Proxy, Splunk, and Axway
  • Collaborate using JIRA, Confluence, and Zephyr for test management and documentation
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain high test coverage
  • Write and maintain automated test scripts using Java, JavaScript, Groovy, and frameworks like Rest Assured and Appium
  • Use tools including IntelliJ, Jenkins, Git, Xcode, and Sourcetree to support CI/CD pipelines and version control
  • Contribute to performance testing efforts (if applicable) using tools like JMeter and Cucumber
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to identify, track, and resolve bugs

Required Skills

Manual Testing:

  • Experience with Postman / Insomnia, Charles Proxy, Splunk, and Axway
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Zephyr, and Agile workflows

Automation Testing (in Addition To Manual)

  • Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Groovy
