Full Time- 30 Hours per week.

Position Summary:

Be responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen and Work closely with and support your colleagues.

Tasks and responsibilities:

cleaning kitchens, food preparation areas and sculleries
cleaning cooking and general utensils used in kitchens and restaurants
transferring, weighing and checking supplies and equipment
assembling and preparing ingredients for cooking, and preparing salads, savouries and sandwiches
packing food and beverage trays for serving
cooking, toasting and heating simple food items
PREREQUISITES:

• Enthusiastic and positive attitude

• Exceptional communication skills

• Strong customer service skills

• 3 to 6 months experience within the commercial kitchen OR a relevant qualification required.

• Loves to contribute to a team environment.

• Must have flexibility on working weekends, days/hours to cover leave and peak trade periods as per the roster as the restaurant is open 10 am to 9 pm all 7 days.
