Te tūranga - The role and your impact

As the Financial Markets Infrastructure Membership Adviser, you will have the primary responsibility of leading the development, implementation and ongoing management of membership processes and related activities within our Payments Directorate. You will be the lead point of contact between RBNZ and our external stakeholders and will represent RBNZ in discussions with them.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Review, evaluate and analyse all ESAS and NZClear applications
  
• Collect and review information to identify trends
  
• Monitor and enforce adherence to membership policies and procedures
  
• Proactively identify and report risks as required
  
• Independently engage and manage external stakeholders
  

Ō pūkenga - About you
We're looking for someone who has an analytical mindset with the ability to conceptually diagnose problems and exercise creative ways of thinking to find a solution.

If you have:

• Broad-based experience in a bank, insurer or other financial institution
  
• An understanding of wholesale and retail payment systems
  
• Demonstrable experience in continuous improvement and business analysis
  
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and influence relationships
  
• A collaborative approach
