Geomorphologist

Our Primary Industries group has an exciting opportunity for a senior level Geomorphologist to support the implementation of geomorphic assessment and design services. Acting as a mentor within the team, you’ll provide sound technical advice and project leadership within Primary Industries and the wider WSP business.

This role will focus on fluvial morphodynamics and your technical proficiency in numerical modelling, geoanalytics and hydraulic/geomorphic design will enable you to deliver solutions to natural resource problems. Forming part of the Rural Water team, you’ll also have a significant focus on sustainable, working landscapes and rural cathcments.

About you:

  • Postgraduate qualification with specialization in Physical Geography, Geomorphology, Hydrology or related
  • Ideally 10+ years’ experience as a Geomorphologist, Hydrologist or equivalent
  • Proficiency in hydraulic modelling software
  • Current, clean drivers license
