As a Distribution Team Leader, you'll lead the daily plant operations, manage staff and assist with the safe, efficient LPG delivery to customers. You'll also oversee depot infrastructure and handle on-site visitors and contractors. If you're a proactive leader focused on excellence, we want you on our team!

As a Distribution Team Leader, you'll lead the daily plant operations, manage staff and assist with the safe, efficient LPG delivery to customers. You'll also oversee depot infrastructure and handle on-site visitors and contractors. If you're a proactive leader focused on excellence, we want you on our team!
What You Will Enjoy Doing
- A hands-on role, managing both the Wanaka and Cromwell regional depots, overseeing daily operations to support the cylinder market
- Ensure all distribution and filling activities are carried out safely and efficiently for LPG cylinders
- Train staff to ensure all procedures follow company standards, delivering quality service to both internal and external customers
- You will track and report productivity and efficiency
- Find opportunities for improvement, creating cost-effective solutions and address problems quickly
- Also, you will manage the distribution team to achieve company goals, set individual objectives and performance expectations, and conduct formal development assessments
- You have more than two years experience in the Gas Industry, or a related industry with similar dynamics, with logistics/distribution experience at a supervisory level
- Class 2 license with 12+ months delivery driving experience driving a manual transmission
- Be physically fit, as there is lots of heavy lifting involved
- A strong commitment to Health and Safety, and a solid understanding of compliance processes to meet statutory requirements
- Further, you have a proven leadership and relationship-building abilities, coupled with strong decision-making, problem solving and written and verbal communication skills
