This role plays a central part in the day-to-day functioning of our customer service department. You'll be responsible for managing customer and group pricing, processing orders, handling freight issues, and resolving customer complaints. You will also oversee credit processing, new customer setups, and product maintenance in our systems.
The role includes supporting the field sales team with sales order enquiries, managing dated stock, and coordinating seasonal initiatives like our Christmas Ham program. Additionally, you'll be responsible for the operation of our Factory Shop and maintaining various internal systems.
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-focused, and has a strong ability to lead and support a team. You’ll bring a collaborative approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
You Will Also Have
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar customer service or leadership role
- A systematic and organised working style
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- A team-focused mindset with a proactive attitude
- Experience working with business systems (experience with Navision is an advantage)
- A focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving
