Te Tūranga – About The Role

As a Bakery Specialist for the Lower North Island , you’ll partner closely with cluster of stores to help identify business opportunities and put innovation into practice to achieve retail excellence.

To Do This You’ll

  • Use robust planning and financial data to identify and realise opportunities
  • Effectively manage travel and associated bookings to maximise store visit targets and remain in budget
  • Support the in-store bakery with training and development of managers, health and safety issue resolution
  • Implement strategy and projects and continuous improvement of processes

There is frequent travel required for this role where you are away from your home base area up to 4 days at a time every 4 weeks.

He Kōrero Mōu - About You

Specialist is the key word! With a passion for fresh food and the complexity of fresh retailing, you’ll have experience running a bakery, will be a qualified baker or will have a solid understanding of scratch baking.

You’ll Also Have

  • Good commercial acumen
  • An understanding of retail and a knack for finding solutions
  • Confidence building relationships with strong communication skills, good time management
  • Comfort working autonomously
