The O Mahurangi - Penlink Alliance are creating a new seven-kilometre highway between Whangaparāoa Road and State Highway 1. The highway will create a more resilient network and get people where they need to be faster, whether by vehicle, walking or on a bike.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our existing civil works team based at the site office in Dairy Flat, Auckland. Experience in civil construction including drainage, pavements and finishing works is essential.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Experience as a Project Engineer within the heavy civil / construction or infrastructure industry.
• Relevant academic background in Civil Engineering or a related field (diploma/degree).
• Experience in providing technical and commercial support to their discipline lead.
• Proven ability to lead and develop younger team members.
• A strong commitment to Health & Safety.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset and approach.
