Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Contract Cyber Security Analyst to join their team for an inital 6-month contract. In this role, you will be working in the Information and Cyber Security Domain, focusing on uplifting security capabilities to protect customers and the banking environment. You will play a crucial role in supporting the Cyber Security Programme to remediate gaps in secret management. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in banking or financial services, who has a deep understanding of system accounts, privileged access management (PAM), and identity access management (IAM).

What You'll Do
- Work with the Cyber deliver lead to create a backlog of remediation activities
- Use existing frameworks to plan the remediation approach
- Remediate gaps working with system owners and the IAM team
- Ensure protection of customers and the banking environment through effective cyber security measures
- Continuously monitor and update security protocols as needed
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure comprehensive security coverage
- Experience working in banking or financial services industry
- 2 to 3 years of cyber security experience
- Knowledge of system accounts, privileged access management (PAM) and identity access management (IAM)
- Understanding of IT systems and processes
- Cyber security certification such as CISP etc.
- Experience with a compliance and risk management project
- Likely degree educated with information technology focus. However previous experience is key
