As a Cook, you will be responsible for:
- Responsible for the smooth running of kitchen
- Preparation of raw materials, seasoning and heating of food
- Must check the food quality before and after cooking
- Must be able to cook all authentic food
- Storing and labelling food in fridges
- Able to use temperature controlled equipment’s
- Collaborating with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation efficiently
- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served to customers
- Must be able to work independently without supervision
- Must be a can-do attitude with cope up in busy peak hours
- May Train junior kitchen staff
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness
- Adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards
- Comply with the Restaurant & Health and Safety Guidelines
- Minimum 2 year of experience as a Cook or relevant role.
- In-depth knowledge of spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
- Creativity and passion for exploring new flavours.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
- Must be prepared to work in the late nights, weekends and public holidays.
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience starts from $25.00 - $30.00 an hour based on skills and experience.
