This is an excellent opportunity to be part of New Zealand’s most premium brands, STIHL Shop Te Rapa. We specialise in the sales and service of outdoor power equipment.
We are looking for a Senior Sales and Parts Co-ordinator to join our sales team. We want someone who knows how to get things done, who is used to moving fast, juggling multiple priorities, and making brand magic happen.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide professional and personalised customer service, actively engaging with customers to understand their needs and provide best solutions.
- Using our friendly I.T systems to search for products and parts, process orders, ensure timely delivery to service customer needs, while ensuring stock accuracy is maintained.
- Stock management, including processing of inward goods, pricing products and maintaining stock levels, including workshop parts management.
- Demonstrate product knowledge and provide helpful advice.
- Providing customer service in-store, over the phone and e-mails.
- Unpacking & assembly of product for sale.
- Prepare and deliver clear and effective written proposals/quotations.
- Maintaining the showroom to a high standard.
- Ensuring IT data accuracy.
- Support daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures and equipment movement.
- Contribute to all facets of the business to ensure the smooth running of STIHL Shop Te Rapa.
What you will bring to the role:
- Strong sales acumen, with proven experience in retail sales and parts co-ordination or similar role (experience with tools or hardware is an advantage).
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
- Ability to collaborate with our management team for budgeting and forecasting.
- Experience in a relevant industry and/or pre-existing knowledge will be an advantage.
- Great organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Sound IT skills.
- Self-motivated, team player, fast learner with a positive, and “can-do” attitude.
