In this role you will be operating, optimising, training and maintaining the extrusion assets of the Corma, Beier and similar extruders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating and monitoring continuous flow of extrusion operations. Follow company established methods, policies, rules, practices and procedures and optimise these polices for continuous improvement
  • Pre-start readiness, daily production reports, operator checks, QC checks, and other necessary production paperwork to be completed on time and correctly 100% of the time.
  • Responsible for all necessary quality checks, inspections and reactions accordingly
  • Monitoring production quality to minimise avoidable waste
  • Completing training modules for new starters in conjunction with Process Manager and Manufacturing Manager and assessment of existing team.
  • Understanding the SOP and quality system backwards and share improvements

Key Attributes

  • Minimum 3 years’ previous extrusion experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in plastic extrusion plants.
  • In depth knowledge of extruders, (electrical /drivers / processors / screw and Barrel checks / optimisation)
  • Technical aptitude, solutions and results driven, attention to detail and quality focused.
  • Process driven and has a good eye for detail.
  • Practical understanding and experience of production health and safety standards
