Senior Façade Engineer – Auckland

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Façade Engineer to join a growing multidisciplinary team delivering high-performance and sustainable building solutions across commercial and residential projects in Auckland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, documentation, and delivery of façade systems across complex building projects

• Provide strategic engineering advice throughout all project phases including concept design, compliance, construction, and site support

• Ensure compliance with the NZ Building Code and relevant standards (including B1, B2, and E2)

• Conduct structural assessments and thermal performance analysis using industry-standard software such as Strand7 and THERM

• Coordinate with architects, project managers, and external stakeholders

• Provide technical oversight and mentoring to junior engineers within the team

Skills and Experience Required:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (civil or related discipline)

• 5+ years of relevant experience in façade or structural engineering

• Demonstrated understanding of weatherproofing principles, cladding systems, seismic restraint, and passive performance

• Proficiency with Strand7, THERM, and relevant design tools

• Excellent communication and report writing skills

• Strong familiarity with NZ compliance and construction practices

Location: Auckland, New Zealand
Hours: Full-time, minimum 40 hours per week
Salary Range: NZD $110,000 – $130,000 per annum, commensurate with experience
