About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Plant Operator to operate and maintain equipment at our resource recovery facility. This hands-on role requires mechanical aptitude and experience with plant and machinery. You will also assist with vacuum loading jobs outside the yard as an offsider.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain plant equipment and systems
• Perform basic troubleshooting and mechanical repairs
• Assist with off-site vacuum loading work
• Operate loaders, diggers, and other machinery
• Adhere to all safety and environmental procedures

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven mechanical experience
• Experience operating plant and heavy machinery
• Willingness to work outside the yard on vacuum loading jobs
• Loader and digger operating experience is preferred
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid class 4 driver’s licence
• Physical fitness for manual and offsider work
• Dependable, with a strong work ethic
