We're on the lookout for a passionate and people-focused Kaea (Customer Experience Lead) to join our whānau at Dark Sky Project in Lake Tekapo (Takapō). As a Customer Experience Lead, you'll be a guiding presence for our team and our manuhiri (visitors), ensuring every interaction reflects the warmth and care of our Ngāi Tahu culture. You'll help us deliver world-class stargazing and hospitality experiences, while upholding the mana of our people and our place.

What You'll Be Responsible For
- Lead and support our kaimahi to deliver excellence every day
- Create a welcoming, professional, and memorable experience for all manuhiri
- Oversee bookings, retail, and admin with precision and pride
- Help us reach our goal of becoming carbon zero by 2040
- Embrace and uplift Ngāi Tahu values, te reo Māori, and tikanga in your mahi

- We maintain a drug and alcohol-free workplace, with pre-employment and random testing to ensure a safe environment for all
- We foster a culture of hauora (wellbeing), accountability, and aroha, where everyone feels supported to thrive
- 12+ months in customer service and admin roles
- Experience in a supervisory role (advantageous)
- 12+ months using IBIS - Reservations, POS & Scheduler
- A passion for retail and coaching high performing sales teams
- A heart for hospitality and a strong sense of manaakitanga
- Physical stamina and mental agility
- A willingness to grow in a bicultural environment
- P Licence (desirable)
