Are you a motivated, organized individual seeking a new challenge in a fast-paced logistics environment? We’re looking for an Assistant Transport Manager to support the daily
operations of our dynamic courier firm and help deliver outstanding service to our customers.

About the Role
As an Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Business Owner and Operations
Manager to ensure the seamless operation of our courier services. You’ll play a critical role in managing vehicles, supporting staff, engaging with customers, and enhancing overall
business efficiency and profitability.

• Support the maintenance, auditing, and compliance of the company vehicle fleet.
• Assist in purchasing and maintaining vehicles and equipment.
• Contribute to strategic business planning and route optimization.
• Participate in staff recruitment, HR coordination, and team management.
• Deliver high levels of customer service and foster positive client relationships.
• Monitor courier run performance and report on key KPIs.
• Aid in payroll processing, PAYE administration, and general accounts.
• Identify and implement improvements in operational processes and profitability.
• Oversee proper loading/unloading of goods and ensure health & safety compliance.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in transport or logistics preferred of approximately one year or a relevant

• Ability to multitask in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
• Familiarity with fleet and staff management is a plus.
• Basic understanding of payroll/accounting processes.
