We're currently seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead the fit-out delivery of a major commercial construction project in Auckland.

About The Role

We're looking for a Project Manager with a strong background in commercial fit-outs to:

  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of the fit-out packages on a large-scale commercial project.
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure seamless delivery of high-end finishes and services.
  • Collaborate with the wider project team to control programme and costs, ensuring efficiency and quality.
  • Lead and manage the fit-out team, working closely with project leads, site managers, engineers, and consultants.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards, building codes, and client specifications.
  • Proactively manage risk and resolve issues during the project lifecycle, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Oversee project documentation, including contracts, variations, and quality assurance records.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, a trade background or a related field (preferred).
  • At least 10 years of experience as Project Manager working for a main contractor on Commercial Construction projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality interior projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of fit-out processes, subcontractor management, and quality control.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g. MS Project, Procore, Aconex).
