DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Freight Forwarder, Import Air in Auckland.
This position is responsible for arranging the (end to end) transportation and shipment of Import Air consignments from origin to final delivery, including transport, by compiling, completing, and verifying required documents and Cargowise One data in accordance with company policy and procedure and external body regulations.

DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Freight Forwarder, Import Air in Auckland.
This position is responsible for arranging the (end to end) transportation and shipment of Import Air consignments from origin to final delivery, including transport, by compiling, completing, and verifying required documents and Cargowise One data in accordance with company policy and procedure and external body regulations.
Your typical day at DSV:
- Collaborate with the Import Air team to ensure accuracy and high-quality service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and service providers locally and internationally.
- Coordinate transport from CTO to DSV and final delivery, ensuring all milestones and KPIs are met.
- Accurately enter data into CargoWise One (CW1) and process vendor invoices in SAP Webcost.
- Resolve issues involving airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, co-loaders, and customers.
- Calculate costs, GST, and dimensions for invoicing and space management.
- Monitor cargo availability and coordinate delivery or handover based on customer requirements.
- Drive process improvements and actively participate in team meetings.
- Detail-Oriented – You deliver accurate, high-quality work and strive for operational excellence.
- Process-Focused – You follow procedures while actively contributing to team efficiency and improvements.
- Problem Solver – You take initiative, address roadblocks, and escalate issues that impact service or revenue.
- Experienced – Minimum 2 years in a similar role within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
- Tech-Savvy – Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with CargoWise One or similar systems.
- Flexible – Available for weekend roster duties, including Sundays (with additional remuneration provided).
