Duty Manager

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Duty Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our vibrant store and lead our team to success. Position: Duty Manager

Location: Cambridge, Waikato

Job Type: Full time – 30 hours Minimum per week, based on a rotating Roster.

Duration: Permanent

Pay Bracket: Minimum $25.00 per hour and the Employer is willing to go up to $30.00 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that customers receive prompt service and quality goods and services

• Responding to customers' inquiries and complaints about goods and services

• Planning and preparing work schedules and assigning staff to specific duties

• Interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating, dismissing and promoting staff, and resolving staff grievances

• Instructing staff on how to handle difficult and complicated sales procedures

• Examining returned goods and deciding on appropriate action

• Taking inventory of goods for sale and ordering new stock

• Ensuring that goods and services are correctly priced and displayed

• Ensuring safety and security procedures are enforced

We are looking for candidates with the preferred attributes:

• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, and public holidays as per the store timings from Monday to Sunday
• 1 year relevant experience / or relevant experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills and Handling customer professionally
• Great presentation and Personal Hygiene, and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

• To be considered for this role you must be in NZ, and either be an NZ resident, citizen or have the legal right to work in NZ full time.
