Baker

We are seeking Bakers (X2) to join our busy team in Hamilton. This is a full-time role (minimum of 30 hours a week, maximum of 40 hours per week).

The Role

Day-to-day work may include, but not be limited to:

• Clean dishes & kitchen area and kitchen utensils while complying with the cleaning and infection control procedure

• checking and making sure the quality of raw materials meeting the requirements

• weighing the ingredient

• making pastry products

• preparing pastry fillings

• determining the baking times and oven temporary by checking the product appearance.

• using the forming, loading, baking, unloading, depanning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls and other pastry products

• decorating cakes with cream and icing

• glasing buns and pastries

• using machines to roll and mould dough

• Cleaning oil two time per week and check stock.

Our successful applicants will have:

• A relevant NZ certificate level 4 or higher qualification, or

• 3 years relevant work experience

• Works well under pressure
