Ecologist | Napier
The Environmental Science & Ecology team in Napier has an exciting opportunity for an Ecologist who provide top quality science and ecology services to clients, maintaining effective relationships with both clients and colleagues. You’ll also assist with the development of the local and national specialist ecology team, building new work opportunities for WSP.
Working as a key member of the Napier team, you’ll manage environmental & ecology projects through conducting AEE’s, conducting scientific surveys, participating in field work, assisting clients in the preparation of project briefs and providing advice to Councils, Iwi and Clients.

About you:
- Relevant qualification in ecology, environmental science or related
- Preferably minimum 8 years’ professional experience ecology or environmental science
- Ideally holds a Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP) Ecology Specialist certification, or ability to work towards achieving this certification.
- Strong report and proposal writing skills
- Established network connections
- Current clean drivers licence
