Principal Engineer - Protection & Automation
Transpower New Zealand

Transpower owns and operates New Zealand's National Grid — the unique high voltage transmission network that connects areas of generation with towns and cities across the country. Our Grid Development division is responsible for identifying and communicating future Grid needs up to 30+ years ahead, and for developing transmission asset management strategies that support our strategic objectives, as outlined in Transmission Tomorrow and Whakamana i Te Mauri Hiko.
